Ilze’s responsibilities include assisting EU macro-regions and helping Interreg and IJG programmes benefit from this framework, with a particular focus on the embedding process. She supports the programmes in the Atlantic Area in building cooperation links and contributes to colleagues work in the MedLab group and the Interreg programmes in the Baltic Sea Region network. Additionally, Ilze is involved in the development of Index .

She previously worked in a project officer capacity for the Interreg Baltic Sea Region Programme MA/JS.
