Florin’s expertise is in the financial management of the EU funded programmes and projects. He particularly focuses on the control aspects such as management verifications. He also works on public procurement, irregularities and fraud prevention , conflicts of interest, and financial corrections.

His professional experience in EU integration and cross-border cooperation includes working as a controller, in the Romanian National Control System, as a Finance manager and Project manager for the Black Sea (2007-2013) programme as well as being a Counsellor to the Minister of European Integration of Romania.
