Following the detailed discussions in Brussels, Interact is carefully considering and incorporating feedback received during the day-and-a-half event as it prepares a report on the Post 2027 inter-programme consultation.

More than 250 participants joined the event in Brussels, representing some 80 Interreg programmes as well as member and non-member states. During the meeting, participants discussed the eight discussion papers (plus annexes) in small groups, providing valuable feedback on the concepts and messages developed throughout the consultation.

As the event was held in Brussels, and kindly supported by DG REGIO, many colleagues were able to join the discussions from D1, D2 and other Units. They were able to listen directly to the participants and hear ‘on the ground’ experience.

The conclusion of the discussions were reported back in the final plenary, which can be watched online here.

In addition, five programmes were able to explain their work to date in the consultation, and open up some reflections on the initial messages and ideas that have been created. This is also available on Interact’s website.

Interact is now working on the final report which will likely take the form of:

·         An executive summary of the consultations key findings

·         Reports, evolved from each of the discussion papers, as well as of the outcomes of the Indicators Working Group

This document will be submitted to DG REGIO, in-line with the expectations of the consultation toolkit and published on Interact’s website. The aim is this document will be online by the middle of January
