Focus Group discussion - Study pilot on the engagement of civil society in Interreg

Roles and responsibilities

Citizens and civil society organizations are crucial in enhancing the efficiency of public investments within Interreg programs. To this end, Interact, in collaboration with the European Policy Research Centre (EPRC), is conducting a pilot initiative.

This pilot aims to assess the current level of citizen and civil society engagement in Interreg programmes, identify factors that encourage the involvement of citizens and civil society in Interreg programmes and come up with feasible approaches (methods and tools) to help Interreg programmes enable engagement with citizens and civil society.

The last activity for this pilot is this focus group meeting with programmes’ representatives that already expressed their interest in sharing on-the-ground insights. At the conclusion of all the activities, the key findings will be consolidated into a comprehensive publication.

Kindly note that participation in this online meeting is by invitation only.
