Kick-off event on cooperation actions dedicated to EU IJG Goal Managing Authorities

Interact kick-offs the support to Managing Authorities of mainstream programmes with the  upcoming event “Cooperation actions: How to bring down barriers to build sustainable partnerships among EU IJG Goal Managing Authorities”. The workshop will take place in Palermo, Italy, on 02-03 July 2024, and is dedicated to regional programmes in process of setting up cooperation actions. 

The topics of the event will cover: 

  • Interactive sessions designed to assist managing authorities in building seamless collaboration by sharing practical tools and examples, and allowing room for peer-to-peer learning. 
  • A dedicated matchmaking process to facilitate finding the right partners for initiating joint work on cooperation actions. 
  • A future perspective focusing on cooperation actions in the post-2027 period. 

The workshop is organised in partnership with the European Commission and in cooperation with Italy - Presidency of the Council of Ministries/Department for cohesion policies and Southern Italy- Interreg Unit XVIII, and with the support of Sicily Region/ERDF and Interreg Managing Authority. The event will join together experts and practitioners of cooperation actions from the Basilicata Region in Italy, the Presidency of the Council of Ministries of Italy, the Ministry of Finance and for European Affairs, Brandenburg. 

The target group of the workshop include IJG programmes management and implementing bodies (not Interreg). The registration is already open and available here.
